The Space Time Continuum
It’s a busy time of year – all too easy to get lost in the holy trinity of consumerism, family, and overindulgence.
Between frantically trying to get through ‘to-do’ lists before the shops shut, rushing from one set of relatives to another, numbing ourselves with alcohol and food, most of us will have forgotten to allow any space or time for ourselves… to connect with how we’re actually feeling beneath the bonhomie… to listen to the sensations in our body instead of scoffing yet another sprout!
Space and time…
…are crucial for intimacy…both with ourselves, and our loved ones. No wonder many of us start the new year feeling unhealthy or disconnected.
So, in the midst of the silly season, here’s the perfect opportunity to stop…re-connect with stillness… and remember how it feels to feel:
We are all born with the instinct to breathe, to move, and to make sound.
We are all born into a body, with a mind of our own, and a unique spirit.
Our ability to touch and be touched, both physically and emotionally, is what weaves all these parts of us together.
